This selection is designed to enhance visibility by combining regional (SEPEM, BE 4.0), national, and even international (GI, FIP) focuses, and. Choosing a specific market focus, such as this year’s FIP for the plastics industry, or a technical and innovation focus (SIDO, Salon Mesures Solutions Expo), highlights our area of expertise tailored to the specific needs of different markets.
As we all know, there’s no denying it: participating in a trade show takes time, energy, and money!
Between stand design, marketing materials, logistics and setup, travel, and mobilizing a team on-site for several days… the cost of a booth represents a significant budget. So what is the real added value of investing in these events as an exhibitor?

Thanks to the key moments of representation and recognition that these networks have fostered—and to which we were invited to contribute:
"How can we harness the technological potential of public research?"

Conference organized by the Sayens Network:
Romain Baude, CEO and co-founder of APREX, shared his experience as an entrepreneur and former researcher in the field of constructive support research in Sayens with the SATT network, from which APREX Solutions benefited in its early days. On one hand, the sales representatives and technicians on the APREX team are familiarizing themselves with manufacturing techniques. Their interactions with technical specialists from various industrial sectors—including textiles, glass, and metal—enable them to gain a better understanding of the context and specific requirements of each manufacturing process.
On the other hand, visitors can learn about new technologies and the latest innovations in automated vision inspection. To help inform their project planning, they have the opportunity to attend our demonstrations and receive detailed explanations, such as:
o Which vision application is best suited for which type of inspection,
o Which artificial intelligence technology is best suited for which level of detection accuracy,
o For which inspections should 3D vision be considered,
o What are the best practices for developing project specifications for computer vision or machine vision projects,
o …
There’s no better way to demonstrate your expertise than by showing it in action!
All in all, each trade show provides an ideal platform for showcasing our areas of expertise to a highly targeted audience. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet with prospects, clients, suppliers, and partners to discuss practical solutions for quality control automation in the industry.

... Our visitors include managers, quality engineers or technicians, plant managers, innovation managers, and buyers—all of whom share the same drive to find a solution, or even *THE* solution, or simply to stay up to date on the latest technological developments."
In a collaborative and interactive setting, sketches of vision system installations on the production line are drawn on a corner of the table. Specifications are being drafted. It’s a real brainstorming session!
Because our visitors—whether they are managers, quality engineers or technicians, plant managers, innovation managers, or buyers—all share the same motivation: to find a solution, or even *THE* solution, or simply to stay up to date on the latest technological developments.
Some visitors come specifically to our booth to discuss an automated defect detection challenge. Others stop by “by chance,” driven by curiosity... which, contrary to the saying, is a great thing and often sparks new ideas.
Many leave with the information they need to develop or confirm their plans for automating their inspection processes, such as :

- Defect detection, localization, and classification

Our demonstrations at trade shows give them a sense of what’s possible, encouraging them to potentially come back to us for a detailed feasibility study.
In conclusion, from one trade show to the next and from one edition to the next, connections are forged, strengthened, and enriched with new topics, often becoming lasting and even opening up exciting opportunities for collaboration.
Thus, trade shows provide real opportunities to meet business objectives, enhance the recognition of our expertise, and facilitate the promotion of our technologies.
Getting out there and connecting with people helps us step back and gain perspective!
