Our visual inspection and computer vision solutions have won the EDF Pulse Grand Est Award.
On September 8, Romain Baude, CEO and co-founder of APREX Solutions alongside Mikael Desecure, was awarded the EDF Pulse Prize in the Industry 5.0 category for our visual inspection and data analysis solutions.
The EDF Pulse Grand Est Award is a competition designed to highlight innovative companies in the region. Organized by the Grand Est General Operations Division in partnership with the EDF Group’s business units in the region and its border areas, its goal is to identify and promote emerging technologies and/or services that can support innovation in the energy sector.
A big thank you to EDF Pulse for this recognition, to the entire EDF team for inviting us to your booth, to the #GEN2022 trade show for organizing this awards ceremony, and to all the partners and innovation leaders in the region.

An award that recognizes our technology and expertise in supporting quality control and production processes for the industry of the future.
Since 2017, based on algorithms developed over more than 10 years of R&D—particularly in the highly specialized field of nuclear fusion research—our solution combines a database qualification platform, training capabilities, and the implementation of a custom control application into a single tool. Our AX software suite enables users to set up, configure, and manage all operations related to data labeling, AI model training, detection classification, dimensional measurements, and colorimetric measurements, ensuring that the quality control requirements of each project’s specifications are met with precision, reliability, and robustness. It incorporates the best in computer vision technologies : artificial intelligence featuring state-of-the-art supervised and unsupervised AI, as well as parametric algorithms, all within a single management platform. It is a flexible, robust, scalable, and user-friendly tool, even for those without expertise in machine vision.

No matter how advanced they may be, state-of-the-art algorithms alone are not enough to implement an effective solution in the field. The effectiveness of a computer vision solution also depends on a thorough understanding of the specifications and the ability to take a holistic view of the project.
Our innovation also lies in our ability to provide not only cutting-edge technologies integrated into a single control management platform, but also in our comprehensive, cross-functional approach to various projects. We are able to manage them from start to finish: from the specifications to operational maintenance, including feasibility studies, prototyping, integration, and the implementation of a complete system.
Our goal: to provide concrete and effective solutions for improving industrial performance and optimizing non-destructive testing and inspection operations through image acquisition and analysis.
